Insurance agency CRM pricing: what 5 agents pay

CRMs charge per user, per plan, or per account, and sell dialers, phones, and texting as add-ons. Here's what a 5-agent P&C team pays with each, using prices from each company's own website.

How insurance CRMs charge

  • Per user: you pay for each person. InsuredMine, DYL, and DailyTrackly work this way.
  • Per plan: a flat price for up to a set number of users. AgencyZoom's plans cover up to 7.
  • Per account: one price for the whole team, with texts and minutes shared. Ringy works this way.
  • By quote: you call sales for a number. AgencyBloc and Lightspeed Voice work this way, and Agent CRM quotes its agency plans.

The costs that don't show on the pricing page

  • Setup and onboarding fees. InsuredMine lists setup fees, and DYL charges $100 to $2,000 once, depending on the plan.
  • Phone service, when calls run through a separate provider.
  • A dialer, when it's an add-on or not there at all. A stand-alone dialer typically lists around $50 per agent a month.
  • Texting registration. Business texting from a local number needs carrier registration, and providers charge for it.
  • Carrier fees per text or minute, when they aren't included.
  • The contract: a yearly term, a notice period, or a service order that renews on its own.

What it costs as you grow

AgentsDailyTrackly ProAgencyZoomInsuredMine, monthlyRingy, with its add-ons
2 agents$38$149–$349$236$199
5 agents$95$149–$349$590$199
10 agents$190Contact sales$1,180$199
20 agents$380Contact sales$2,360$199

Per-agent pricing costs least for small and mid-size teams. Past about 10 people, one account price like Ringy's costs less, as long as the team can share one pool of texts and minutes and one dialer session.

How to compare quotes

  1. Count the people who'll log in, and check whether the owner needs a paid seat.
  2. List what agents use every day: the dialer, the phones, texting, and renewals.
  3. Price each tool you'd add on top of the CRM.
  4. Add one-time fees and texting registration.
  5. Read the contract: month to month, yearly, or a service order.
  6. Ask for a demo of the dialer on real leads.
